Long's donuts are truly the best, and I mean that. Everyone who tries them, including anyone from out of state, agrees they're the best. There's something so special about the flavor of their glazed yeast donut, I have never had or even heard of a better donut. It's a cute little old looking shop, very simple; go in one door, go out the other. It's worth it to stop by even if you're just driving through town. I think Indiana would have a purge if Long's closed.

Without a doubt this is the best bakery in Indy. Bring cash as that's the only form of payment. Don't expect a nice parking lot. You're going to scrounge a spot on the crusty street and be happy with what you get. Don't expect to sit down as there's no place to sit. Don't want to wait in line? Do it. It will go fast. They are no nonsense here and you need to be ready to shoot off your order. Don't leave without trying a cinnamon fried OMG! The smells alone inside are worth the visit. Hint: Buy more than you think you need.

Truly a gem of Indy! Old school, cash only bakery with the most delicious (and super affordable) donuts/cookies/pastries. The danishes were very good, especially the strawberry/cheese. If you're into sort of sour lemons, then the lemon version is perfect for you with a cup of coffee. But wow, the apple fry was 11/10! Perfectly balanced with chunks of apple & cinnamon and a hefty feel. Gave me all the cozy, wam feelings of fall! Will be back to try Mary Ann, glazed twist, etc...

Came here on a recommendation from YouTube, and it is my favorite kind of neighborhood place. Good, solid donuts and service.
